The quoted response yeah it wasn't helpful, but at least i was replying relatively, instead of making a grammar **** comment rather than saying something useful. As for my original post I would say it is useful, as it is alerting many people of the soon to be forge gun nerf and the source of where I obtained that information. After that its me ranting about how garbage ccp is in terms balancing, with the miniscule hope that they read this and actually realize how ******** what they're doing is.

Where is the source?

CCP "talks" about many things, what you hear them say in an interview with the word "We've talked about it" means nothing.

And what I read made me extremely dissapointed. They talked about introducing damage decay over distance to the forge gun without making the forge gun feel ineffective. Yep, the nerf hammer is coming to the one useable av weapon. Disregard the fact that the only reason the forge gun is useable is because you CAN get out of the slaughter range of an lav and tank, well who cares if vehicles run rampant right? Not like ccp has said a single word about murder taxis at all, nope they're just gonna nerf forge guns. Disregard the fact that to buff dropships all you need to do is reintroduce spawn points, and give the LLAV damage resistance bonus to the dropships instead. Oh well, I'm a consumer, and if you ** up your product, ill simply move on. Good one ccp, glad to see your "knowledge on balancing" is going to further "fix" the av situation. No wonder your game is dead. Time to move on if you're literally going to ** it up even more, make planning your sp paths even more worthless, and not even focus on adding new content like maps or game modes. Let alone the promised PVE or racial variants. Or god forbid the player market. Nope. Just nerfing, that apparently takes up all your time.

That's the only strategy capable of killing real madrugars, a week ago I pumped 10 consecutive ishukone assault forge guns shots with complex damage mods and pro 3 into blammos tank before it went down, yep 10 shots. All in a row. Ask anyone and they'll tell you I'm a forge gunner sometimes. You're not exposing anything but your own low IQ.

Go back to the general announcements page and click on the dev tag next to the thread "desperate plea to ccp, from a veteran dropship pilot near the bottom of the page, I would've provided a link in the OP but I'm on my phone so that's easier said then done.
